Traffic Alert  – 14 – 16 January 2010

RTA and local police wish to alert all vehicles travelling near Cataract Scout Park in Appin between (Thursday 14 – Saturday 16 January) of heavy traffic and a reduced speed zone.

The NSW Police and RTA have reduced the speed zone on Appin Road passing the Cataract Scout Park in Appin to 60 km.

SPECIAL NOTICE: More than 13,000 Scouts, leaders and volunteers will be leaving Cataract Scout Park commencing at 11pm TONIGHT.

Buses, private vehicles and trucks will be existing Cataract Scout Park from TONIGHT onwards until Saturday 16 January.

This will cause long delays on Appin Road during this period.

Police will be vigilant at patrolling the 60 KM zone on Appin road and will be managing traffic to the entrance of Cataract Scout Park.
