Adventurous Gliding
‘The sky is your limit’ with adventurous gliding

The Programme
You will travel by bus from the Jamboree campsite to Camden Airport for your half day activity session.
On arrival, all participants will be given a safety briefing, details of the Activity Flight and an overview of the ‘on site base’ activities operating on the day.

The Gliding Flight
During the session you will be escorted to the Gliding Wing of the Scout Air Activities Centre for your ‘Ultimate Gliding Experience’
After an initial briefing by your pilot/instructor, you will step aboard the Super Dimona Glider for a thirty minute flight. The self launching glider will take off and climb way above the airport and surrounding countryside, then the ‘gliding’ will begin.
In the glide, you may wish to experience the sensation of ‘hands on controls’ and actually fly the glider or just relax, communicate with the pilot and enjoy a magical journey of a lifetime.

Refreshments will be provided for both morning and afternoon sessions.
Plus all participants will be awarded ‘Golden Wings’, ‘Air Activity Badge’ and an ‘AJ2010/Scout Air Activities Certificate of Attendance’.
Date and time of session
On receipt of your completed ‘Application & Payment Form’ you will be notified by mail in December 2009 the date and time of your session.
Activity fee
The total cost of this aviation experience will be $80.00 inc. GST. Please note that this is an additional cost to the AJ2010 Jamboree participation fee.
